Sadowsky Hard Case Alert: Have a Sadowsky Hard Case?

If you have a Sadowsky Hard case, please read on:

We have discovered that due to new international environmental regulations, the dye in our hard case inserts can now potentially stain the back of your instrument's neck, which is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer. We have used these cases for three years with no problems, so I suspect it is probably more recent cases. To be on the safe side, please do this regardless of the age of your case.

Please take the following steps to protect your instrument (as indicated in the photos below): Take the body insert out of the case (it is removable) and place a polishing cloth or white T-shirt material where it meets the neck.If you need an extra Sadowsky polishing cloth, please email roger@sadowsky.com and we will mail you one at no charge.

I apologize for any inconvenience.
