The Jimmy Bruno Prototype features 5-ply maple laminate body construction with the following specifications:
14-3/4” body width at the lower bout
2-3/4” body thickness
1-11/16” nut width
Maple neck with ebony fingerboard and oval pearl inlays
24-3/4” scale, 20 frets, 14 frets to the body
Ebony bridge, tailpiece and pickguard
Gold hardware
This prototype guitar is identical to the prototype Jimmy Bruno has been playing since January 2005, however his proto has a mahogany neck and this one has a maple neck. There was one additional prototype which was a two humbucker model with a maple neck. The two HB model was originally owned by the late Rich Raezor.
