This fabulous sounding and looking bass has some slight transparency of the silver metallic finish on the back (you can see the grain of the wood through the finish in certain light). In addition, due to a formulation change from our lacquer supplier, it also has a few lacquer checks on the neck. Rather than refinish the whole instrument, we are offering it "as is" (full warranty other than for the finish issues) at an $900 discount. As always, sold on 7-day approval.
