| Roger Sadowsky answers: I only have one price. I feel that is the only way to maintain integrity in what I do. All of my clients are equally important to me, no matter how well known they are. I will treat you the same as anyone appearing on the cover of Bass Player magazine.
That said, if a particular client, whether it be a well known celebrity or a small town teacher, sends me a lot of business, I will, of course, show my appreciation. It may be some strings or maintenance work, or some other consideration. I consider it good manners to show someone you appreciate their support. But I do not negotiate my selling prices on any of my products. This policy applies to all of my dealers as well. |
