A website visitor asks: I've noticed that the Electric Nylon String appears to use standard electric guitar type machine heads. Given that nylon strings tend to stretch quite a lot, does this become a problem or are there things you've done to overcome this?

Roger Sadowsky answers: We now use a special nylon string gear custom made for us by Sperzel. It has a larger roller, like a traditional nylon gear and a 12:1 gear ratio.
