| David F. in Laredo, TX asks: What string gauge did my new Sadowsky ship with? I want to make sure I get the same kind when I buy a new set. |
| Roger Sadowsky answers: Unless the customer requests otherwise, all Sadowsky Basses ship with Sadowsky strings which are stainless steel, standard gauge. The size of each string is 45/65/85/105 ... on 5-string basses the B-string is 128. Light gauge bass strings are available for both 4 and 5-string bass and they measure 40/60/80/100/(125).
Sadowsky Guitars ship with Sadowsky standard gauge nickel strings (10-46). Light gauge strings (9-42) are available. We sell our Sadowsky Guitar and Bass Strings direct at very reasonable prices, and we offer a volume discount if you buy six sets or more.
