The Metro Line represents all the basic models of Sadowsky NYC basses but are made by our staff at Sadowsky Tokyo. The Metro Line offers most of the same features as their NYC siblings including the same pickups, preamp and bridge.
Prices range from $1990 to $2730 and will be available from a network of select Sadowsky dealers. The quality of the Metro Line is as high as our NYC instruments.
In addition to the Metros we may already have in stock, we receive a shipment every month. Please call to inquire if what you are looking for is already on the way. With a deposit of $500, we can reserve an inbound model, or place a new order.
Current delivery time for new orders is 4-5 months.
Ultra-Vintage ’70s Series
The Ultra-Vintage '70s Metro features a full-size body, bridge pickup in '70s location (about 1/2" closer to the bridge), and a fingerboard with blocks and binding. Maple fingerboards are available with white or black blocks and binding, and rosewood boards have white blocks and binding. Each model is available with an alder or ash body, regardless of fingerboard choice.

Vintage Series
Our Vintage Series Metro features a slightly undersized J-Bass body with pickup placement in '60s location. Rosewood boards are combined with alder bodies, and maple boards will have ash bodies.
