Electric Nylon

I was in the studio tonight finishing the last  guitar tracks for my band's CD. The Sadowsky electric nylon is featured on one song for rhythm and the solo.  Good lord does this guitar sound like heaven.  

And it's soooooooo easy to get a great tone. Just plug straight into the board, apply some light compression and/or peak limiting and viola!  Incredible.  We didn't fuss with mic selection or placement. Simple and efficient with beautiful sonic results. It allowed me to focus more on playing and making music than messing around with the engineering aspect of the recording.

I'll upload the songs to my band's MySpace page probably at the end of the month and then let you know.

I'll try to get a mix of that song with the nylon pushed up front. The other guitar on that song is a Sadowsky strat and the bass is a Metro PJ with an alder body and maple board.  I turned our bass player onto Sadowsky. It wasn't hard.

I´ll be happy to listen to it and wow! I´m guessing that if there were "sadowsky drums" the drums would be sadowsky too !
I didn´t know they have metros with alder body and maple boards.. that´s cool!

LOL, my sons are drummers and my older boy teased "Roger should make me a snare drum. Because everything he makes sounds awesome!"

My mistake: the bass is ash + maple. I was tired when I mistyped.

Very interesting instruments. Unique and beautiful . The one with the "koa stump" top really got to me. Didn't make a move in time to land her, but somebody out there must be all smiles.

We just finished up in the studio last night at 11:30pm.
We recorded and mixed everything in about 8 hours so it's not perfect (cough, cough)
