Anyone have anything to say about the LS-17?? Haven't seen or heard much about it yet from people that have actually played it.

Wow, I'm surprised no one has anything to offer. No one has played one, even at the store???

I've haven't been to the shop in about a year.
I'm also profoundly lame at jazz guitar so it's not on my wish list.

I've been able to try an LS-17 a month ago when I dropped by the showroom.
Comparing with other Sadowsky archtops, I would say the LS-17 has a more "open" sound. I've found it a little less mid focused than the Jim Hall model.
Personally, I tend to lean toward 24 3/4 scale guitars, because I like the warmth you get with mids and the way those guitars can cut through the mix. The LS-17 will probably be the first Archtop I'll order though, because it would complement my other guitars. Someday...

Anyway, I really dig all the archtops models.
