Hi from Italy.
In my Sadowsky UV 70 5 strings I would install a ramp between the two J pickups. I'm used to have a large area under my fingers (like a soapbar pu or an humbuker).
Enyone tried to do that ?
Thank you !!

Hi from Portugal!
I've tried it in a Jerzy Drozd Mastery 5. It's ok... it's confortable... it's quick... it takes some minutes to adapt, but it's not a big deal...
I own a Sadowsky Modern 5... I'm not even thinking about doing that modification on it, but I'm in negotiations with the jerzy mastery owner, so that's not a problematic matter... at least for me...

I think it can be done with a Modern or Standard but the pickguard on the Vintage style makes it a bit problematic, IMO.

In that case you can try to make both in one... pickguard with ramp included... if u don't like it, you just have to replace with the original pickguard...

Here I am.
I spent this sunday on "building" my clear pickguard + ash ramp. This is the result ... the first step: I have to play some time to check if the work was good !!

Looks like a rewarding exercise. Might wanna try here. You can do some cropping & other enhancements there as well. http://photobucket.com/B.
