Thought I'd post another clip of my build w/flats since it's been awhile. This is an overlay on my friend Roman Riccio's Elton John cover of "Your Song". He recorded this in his apartment using a high end vocal mic & electric keyboard. The Bass Settings: Pan @ detent, VTC @ full up, Bass preamp - bass flat & treble @ 20% boost. Used a Great River ME-1NV preamp & dbx160a comp & recorded the mix direct on an Olympus LS10. The YouTube upload was set for HD so use the 720p HD setting on the right of the progress bar. That'll give you a bonus resolution of the still shot of the Sad' as well. if you hit the full screen setting - the bass looks REAL good @ 720p HD. (this is not a video) You may like to check out Roman's original video of it while you're there. B. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MIV-jXZgNsI had to say it again: I love it! keep it up, Blair. Thanks amigo. Posted new link ^ B. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdYgXvkGxH4 - new link / improved ending Nice playing. Really nice and sweet.
RIP Dee Murray. He was amazing, esp on GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD CD/LP.

Here's a link to my Youtube channel. Some of the overdubs have been blocked on copyright grounds. I'll add more clips of my Sadowsky build from time to time. The still photo of the bass shown indicates the one used for the clip. These aren't videos at present. Only audio. (I'm not much to look at anyway). B. http://www.youtube.com/user/P4flats?blend=4&ob=5#p/uEdit: Hosting site folder of the Eagles overdubs I just did. Not as good audio as what I get on YouTube but it's OK for iPod listening I guess. I've noted the bass settings for each song. http://www.box.net/shared/p44d4dsa9x1of7nuknf7

Hey Blair, I just subscribed to your YouTube channel. It would be great if you start filming your overdubs so we can not only hear, but see what your hands are doing.

I got the Zoom Q3HD and it has a Line In where you can connect a stereo signal from your recording setup and use that audio with the movie.

Done! Gonna go get some lessons at the Apple Store soon. I'm kinda busy w/ G.L. at the moment Fran. Here's a new folder of some overdubs of some of my favorite Gordo songs re-done w/ the Sad' build. "Soul Food" for me. I'll add to it from time to time. B. http://www.box.net/shared/m7igr01uq6u3i8j2oeej

I have some pretty exciting memories of cracking the box back then Fran. A day for gifts as I'm sure you recall. It definitely is a special slab alright. I could ride that wave all the way home. The light / dark aspect of the fretboard 2 tone appearance is not nearly as obvious in real life. The lighting in photos makes it pop out more. At the risk of repeating myself here, Roger does a very special job of truing his fretboards up high. B.

Those are two cool shots. I'd love to have a photo of my PJ with Roger in it.
