Is this a new pickup in this Modern 4? Could it be a new single coil design?

HI
I dont think so, Joe. Looks like Nordstrand Big Singles. I had them in my 24/4. Hopefully someone from the shop will chime in

This is our new Sadowsky 4 string soapbar pickup. I think the longer, narrower shell looks much nicer.

Hey Roger,
Those slimmer pickups do look nice, but I still like the old ones as well. I actually like both!
Who came up with the idea for the slimmer pickups?

I agree
Is there any change in sound compare to the older soapbars?

There are 2 different shells for the BS. Actually Cary uses the shallower ones for his basses as well.
My BS equipped 5 string that I just ordered, will also have the new ones.
I myself, really like the look of open polepieces (like on the other design)
