I'm not a fan of block inlays, but this is one of the few instruments I've seen with them that really turns me on to this specific instrument... it's the overall package. I would love to see a bass just like this with LED block inlays and black hardware... but I tend to lean toward the weird.
This is another keeper! What a sweet looking instrument!!

This is why the wait for a build is exciting. Have you taken the control cavity cover off yet Mike? B.

Blair,
I havent opened the control cavity yet But I know Rob LoPrinzi built my bass.
Classic Jazz,
That is a beautiful Tort PG that goes so well with 59Burst. If I had all the quilt shining underneath the strings it would mezmerize me and I would forget what I am playing. Plus better to have my fingernail marks from slapping and popping on that and not on the finish. Roger would be glad to drill some holes and put one on your basses. LOL

That's why I keep my MV4 around for! But that is pretty nice looking bass you have....even with that plastic thingy! Use it in good health as my Mom would say!

Just out of curiosity, are those blocks "ebony" because they're black, or are they actually ebony wood inlays?
