There is no doubt the nicest looking ash is reserved for natural finishes.  Paint grade ash might have some natural defects or other qualities that did not make it suitable for natural or burst finishes.

For a smaller tube amp, I personally like a Fender Deluxe Reverb, or a Carr Rambler.

Have you tried the AC adaptors we sell?   Even with our Sadowsky approved adaptors, in noise sensitive situation, we recommend battery.  But our AC adaptors in general are quiet.   Our pedal requires a linear regulated power supply.

Sims does not remove the fingerboard to install the LEDs.  Also, the brightness can be adjusted by a resistor or installing a trim pot where the resistor get's installed at the power switch.
